Title: QFT with a homological attitude
Abstract:
I will give a gentle introduction to the research program pursued by my group, in which problems of QFT are phrased (and solved) in the language of homotopy algebras and their corresponding (co-)homology. First, I introduce the notion of homotopy transfer, which encodes seemingly unrelated computations in QFT, and illustrate it with the computation of tree-level scattering amplitudes of general gauge field theories. Second, I outline a program for the computation of full quantum correlation functions using the cohomology of a Batalin–Vilkovisky (BV) algebra.
