DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Olaf Hohm\n\nTitle: QFT with a homological attitude\n\
 nAbstract:\nI will give a gentle introduction to the research program purs
 ued by my group\, in which problems of QFT are phrased (and solved) in the
  language of homotopy algebras and their corresponding (co-)homology. Firs
 t\, I introduce the notion of homotopy transfer\, which encodes seemingly 
 unrelated computations in QFT\, and illustrate it with the computation of 
 tree-level scattering amplitudes of general gauge field theories. Second\,
  I outline a program for the computation of full quantum correlation funct
 ions using the cohomology of a Batalin–Vilkovisky (BV) algebra.
