Title: Thermal stress-energy tensor for massless quantum fields in Kerr-Newman spacetime
Abstract:
We investigated massless quantum fields in a rotational global equilibrium state on a Kerr-Newman black hole background. In particular, we considered the analytic part of the thermal expectation value of the stress-energy tensor which has recently been conjectured to be independent of the underlying spacetime. We attempted to calculate this analytic part starting from a general expansion built from geometric quantities. In the Kerr limit we were able to fix 58 out of 59 expansion coefficients, and in the Schwarzschild limit we obtained a fully determined result that is consistent with the literature.
