Bachelor thesis project
Our group is involved in the computation of gravitational waveforms emitted by the encounter of two black-holes, neutron stars or stars thereby employing efficient techniques based on quantum field theory. Building upon our recent results we would like to visualise the emitted gravitational waves using existing software tools in collaboration with the MPI for Gravitational Physics. The individual should bring along some knowledge of general relativity, good programming skills in Python and experience with Mathematica. Please contact Prof. Plefka for this. [Project already taken]
