 x-tubes and defects in holography\n\nAbstract:\nI will discuss the physics
  of a cusped Wilson loop in N=4 super Yang-Mills theory in the presence of
  a large R-charge and at strong coupling. This setup provides a bridge b
 etween defect CFT data\, the structure of the static quark-antiquark poten
 tial and large-charge dynamics. In particular\, at a critical value of th
 e charge one crosses from a region dominated by the familiar Coulomb-like 
 singularity to a “deconfined” situation. I will briefly comment on th
 e fusion of Wilson lines.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
