Title: Obtaining the q-Inozemtsev spin chain by freezing

Abstract:
This talk will be a follow-up to my talk in the Friday seminar in October 2023, in which I motivated the search for a quantum-integrable model called the q-deformed Inozemtsev spin chain. I will give a more in-depth explanation how to construct this model. Concretely, I will introduce a new elliptic spin Ruijsenaars model and show how to ‘freeze’ this system to obtain a spin chain. This will uncover a novel mechanism to obtain a whole family of quantum-integrable models and also a whole hierarchy of commuting charges, implying that the q-Inozemtsev spin chain is integrable.
