SUMMARY:Raj Patil -
DESCRIPTION:Title: Precision Gravity: Effective field theory methods for po
st-Newtonian calculationsAbstract: My talk will focus on computing state-o
f-the-art effective two-body Hamiltonians and fluxes using techniques from
quantum field theory and scattering amplitudes. These Hamiltonians and fl
uxes serve as fundamental building blocks for waveform templates\, and usu
ally dictates the accuracy of the waveform model. I will describe the rece
nt partial results at sixth and seventh post-Newtonian (PN) order. In part
icular\, I will discuss the six-loop contribution at 6PN\, which represent
s the highest-precision computation to date in the context of the fundamen
tal forces of nature. I will also discuss the implications of a Z2 symmetr
y observed in the static sector. This symmetry leads to nontrivial relatio
ns among PN coefficients and allows the odd PN static potentials to be det
ermined from information at lower PN orders\, providing powerful tools for
  higher-order calculations.
