 inking Quantum Field Theory"\nNotice the schedule: the Colloquium will be 
 at 12\, preceded by a meeting at 11:00 with the speaker (part of the "Mult
 iplicity Seminars" of the RTG).\nSpeaker: Prof. Silvia Nagy\, University o
 f DurhamTitle: From Symmetries to Wavefunctions\n\nAbstract:\nI will first
  give a pedagogical overview of the self-dual sectors of Yang-Mills theory
  and gravity. These are not only excellent playgrounds for asking question
 s that are too difficult in the full theory\, but also starting points for
  a perturbation theory towards the full theories. In this context\, I will
  show how an appropriate treatment of the symmetries arising in these sect
 ors can lead to extremely powerful Ward identities: the wavefunction is fu
 lly determined\, at all orders\, from the symmetry! I will comment on futu
 re directions in both flat and curved background spacetimes.\n
