DESCRIPTION:Amplitudes\, Form Factors and the Dilatation Operator of N=4 SY
 M Theory\nAbstract:\n"Form factors form a bridge between the purely off-sh
 ell correlation\nfunctions and the purely on-shell amplitudes. In this tal
 k\, we study the\nform factor of a generic gauge-invariant local composite
  operator in N=4\nSYM theory. At tree-level and for a minimal number of ex
 ternal fields\, the\nform factor exactly realises the spin-chain picture o
 f N=4 SYM theory in\nthe language of scattering amplitudes. Via generalise
 d unitarity\, we\nobtain the cut-constructible part of the one-loop correc
 tion to the\nminimal form factor of a generic operator. Its UV divergence 
 yields the\ncomplete one-loop dilatation operator of the theory. Proceedin
 g to the next\nloop order\, we compute the complete two-loop correction to
  the two-point\nform factor of the Konishi operator via unitarity and obta
 in the two-loop\nKonishi anomalous dimensions from it. For the Konishi ope
 rator as well as\nother non-protected operators\, important subtleties ari
 se which require an\nextension of the method of unitarity. The talk is bas
