Title: SQFTs, Moduli spaces and Phases
Abstract: Supersymmetric quantum field theories typically have an interesting moduli space of vacua. We will review the concept of a moduli space and introduce its associated phase (Hasse) diagram, with a focus on simple examples of 3d N=4 theories. We will see that the Hasse diagram is nothing but a neat way to encode the Higgs mechanism. If time permits, we will then study a particular class of 6d SCFTs using cutting edge magnetic quiver technology and brane systems.
