DESCRIPTION:Practical lattice discretizations of supersymmetric gauge theor
 ies are\nnotoriously difficult to construct in four dimensions.  N=4\nsup
 ersymmetric Yang--Mills (SYM) is the only known 4d theory for which\nthere
  exists a lattice formulation that exactly preserves a subset of\nthe supe
 rsymmetry algebra.  This exact supersymmetry has remarkable\nconsequences
  that are crucial to enabling practical non-perturbative\nlattice calculat
 ions.  After reviewing some highlights of the N=4 SYM\nlattice formulatio
 n\, I will present a selection of results from our\nongoing numerical stud
 ies\, including comparisons with analytic\npredictions.\n\n&nbsp\;
