SUMMARY:Daniele Artico: The perturbative bootstrap of the Wilson-line defec
 t CFT -
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Daniele Artico\n\nTitle: The perturbative bootstrap o
f the Wilson-line defect CFT\n\nAbstract:\n\n\nWe study the defect CFT ass
ociated with the half-BPS Wilson line in N=4 Super Yang-Mills theory in fo
ur dimensions. Using a perturbative bootstrap approach\, we derive new ana
lytical results for multipoint correlators of protected defect operators a
t weak coupling (https://inspirehep.net/literature/2839377) and correlator
s of one bulk and two defect local operators at strong coupling (https://i
 nspirehep.net/literature/2839381) .\n\nFor multipoint correlators\, we dem
onstrate that the simplest five- and six-point functions are fully determi
ned by non-perturbative constraints -- which include superconformal symmet
ry\, crossing symmetry\, and the pinching of operators to lower-point func
tions -- as well as by a single integral\, known as the train track integr
al. For bulk-defect-defect correlators\, we prove that up to NLO the corre
lator is fully described by boundary integrals\, and that transcendental t
 erms cancel at weak coupling.
