 bstract:\n\nWe continue the study of four-point correlation functions by t
 he hexagon\ntessellation approach initiated in arXiv:1611.05436\, 1611.055
 77 [hep-th].\n\nWe consider planar tree-level correlation functions in N =
  4 supersymmetric\nYang-Mills theory involving two non-protected operators
 .\nWe find that\, in order to reproduce the field theory result\, it is ne
 cessary to\ninclude SU(N) colour factors in the hexagon formalism\; moreov
 er\, we find that the\nhexagon approach as it stands is naturally tailored
  to the single-trace part of\ncorrelation functions\, and does not account
  for multi-trace admixtures. We discuss\nhow to compute correlators involv
 ing double-trace operators\, as well as more general\n1/N effects\; in par
 ticular we compute the whole next-to-leading order in the large-N\nexpansi
 on of tree-level BMN two-point functions by tessellating a torus with\npun
 ctures.\n\nFinally\, we turn to the issue of ``wrapping''\, Luescher-like 
 corrections. We show\nthat SU(N) colour-dressing reproduces an earlier emp
 irical rule for incorporating\nsingle-magnon wrapping\, and we provide a d
 irect interpretation of such wrapping\nprocesses in terms of N=2 supersymm
 etric Feynman diagrams.
