 he free string limit of the AdS/CFT correspondence\, the duality between g
 auge theory and gravity can sometimes be promoted to a triality\, with the
  third physical model given by an integrable system. Motivated by novel de
 formations of the AdS3 integrable system\, I will review recent developmen
 ts in the construction and quantization of trigonometric and elliptic defo
