 the presence of time-machines\n\nAbstract:\nIn this talk I analyze the con
 struction of quantum field theory in multiply-connected spacetimes (i.e. s
 pacetimes that contain regions with closed timelike curves (CTCs)). Additi
 onally\, I explore how particle detectors can discern the presence of CTCs
  in causally disconnected regions and differentiate between various spacet
 ime topologies.
