Title: “The L-infinity algebra of the S-matrix”

Abstract: We find a hidden algebraic structure inside vacuum correlators and S-matrix elements of any QFT, that of an L-infinity (or strongly homotopy Lie) algebra. This generalises the algebraic structure of closed string field theory to arbitrary QFTs. We explain how this L-infinity algebra “controls” deformations of the vacuum state.
