The talk will focus on the “double copy” relation between gauge theory and gravity. I will start by reviewing the double copy at the level of scattering amplitudes, where it has played a major role in the study of perturbative (super)gravity. Then, I will describe how this relation, which arises in perturbation theory, extends in some cases to an exact map between well-known classical solutions. In the simplest instance, it gives the Schwarzschild black hole as a double copy of the Coulomb potential. I will first discuss several stationary solutions of interest, and will then give a simple example of a time-dependent solution with Bremsstrahlung-type radiation.
