Scattering amplitudes in N<=4 supergravity theories

This talk discusses recent progress in amplitude computations for particular classes of supergravity theories with reduced supersymmetry in the framework provided by color/kinematics duality and by the double-copy construction.

After reviewing color/kinematics (c/k) duality and the construction of gravity amplitudes as “double-copies” of gauge amplitudes, we will explore the application of these techniques to theories obtained from N=4 sYM and N=8 supergravity through an orbifold projection. Particular emphasis will be given to the extension of c/k duality to quiver gauge theories with fields transforming in (bi)fundamental representations.

Finally, we will formulate the double-copy construction for a particular infinite family of gauged and ungauged N=2 supergravity theories in four and five dimensions and discuss directions for further research.
